Bitumen VG40
Bitumen VG40 is a standard viscosity grade bitumen usually used for heavy duty road construction and highly stressed areas to endure substantial traffic loads and high temperature as per following technical specification. Due to the higher viscosity of VG40,stiffer bitumen mixes can be produced to improve paving resistance to higher temperature and heavy traffic loads.

Definition of bitumen penetration Bitumen VG40
It is a kind of bitumen, which is provided during the process of oxidation of vacuum bottom the bitumen production feedstock that derives from distillation tower residue in vacuum oil refineries at bitumen production units. In a manner that its Viscosity point . The main common usage of this product is in road making at temperate regions.

Application of bitumen penetration grade VG40
Bitumen VG-40 is used in important areas such as truck parking lots, near toll booths and intersections instead of previously used 30/40 Penetration grade. Due to the higher viscosity, stiffer Bitumen mixes can be produced in order to improve resistance to shoving and other issues related to heavy traffic loads and higher temperature.
